“What Physical Health -AND- Mental Health Conditions are Eligible for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC)?” | Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 4-5pm PT

The Canadian Disability Tax Credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax credit designed to reduce the income tax burden for people living with significant and prolonged physical or mental impairments.

In this session, we will explore how DTC eligibility is assessed, what types of physical and mental health conditions may qualify, and why certification by a medical practitioner is required. We’ll also discuss how the DTC can support eligible individuals, caregivers, and dependants, and how approval may open access to other financial programs, including the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP).
